cover stories, god

staring long enough at wildflowers lands me next to the girl who leaning forward wrapped her hand around a purple tulip to bring it close to her nose. looking at her from a seated position in the grass below it was clear the daises wrapped around her small head signified god’s role in her crown and it seemed to me she could smell him in that tulip. the little golden book cover told me all that without needing to read the story.
